Using ezship
These terms apply to ezship.dev and the hosted ezship service, including the Studio, apps, command-line connections and ezship's ChatGPT plugin. By using the service, you agree to these terms. “ezship”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of the service, reachable at dan@ezship.dev.
If you act for an organization, you must have authority to use the service and accept these terms for it. You must be at least 13, or the higher minimum age required where you live. If you cannot legally accept these terms yourself, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use.
Accounts and your team
Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in methods and connection credentials, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Your organization is responsible for choosing administrators, inviting people and setting app and record access appropriately.
A ChatGPT connection acts with the permissions of the account you connect. A plugin connection does not make someone an operator of the service or grant access to another organization.
Your apps and content
You retain any ownership rights you have in the code, files and records you provide and the apps you build. You give ezship permission to store, copy, compile, process and serve that content as needed to provide the service, including AI processing you request.
You must have the rights and permissions needed for the information you upload, including any personal information about other people. You are responsible for the apps you build, the decisions they support and your use of their output. AI-generated code and responses can be wrong; review and test them before relying on them.
Previews and publishing
Previews use your organization's production database. Actions in a Preview can change real records, so use suitable sample data when trying a workflow that writes information.
The ChatGPT plugin requires separate browser approvals to Push changes and Deploy an app. A message in chat does not replace those approvals. Review the files and versions presented before approving. You remain responsible for changes made by you or agents you authorize.
Trials, limits and availability
Trials and hosted accounts can have time, capacity, storage, app, build and AI-credit limits. Signup and new work depend on available capacity. Limits can pause AI assistance or prevent further changes. Trial expiry does not automatically delete your records or saved work.
A free-trial signup does not authorize a charge. Any paid service requires separately disclosed pricing and your agreement. Roadmap plans and features are descriptions of possible future work, not commitments to provide them.
The service is evolving. We may change features, limits or availability, and maintenance or provider failures can interrupt access. There is no uptime or support-response guarantee unless we separately agree to one in writing.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and within the access you have been given. Do not use it to distribute malware, commit fraud, harass people, infringe others' rights, access another organization's information, bypass authentication or limits, or deliberately disrupt the service.
Keep passwords, sign-in codes and access tokens out of AI conversations and support messages. Do not use the ChatGPT integration for payment card data, protected health information or government identification numbers. Contact us before using ezship for work that needs special regulatory, safety or data-handling safeguards.
Privacy and other providers
Our privacy policy explains what we collect, how information is used and shared, retention and your choices. Using AI assistance sends relevant content to the AI providers involved. Read that policy before submitting confidential records.
ChatGPT, AI model services and other services you connect have their own terms and policies. We do not control their availability or their independent handling of information.
Suspension and ending use
You can stop using the service, revoke connections and contact us about closing your account or organization. We may restrict or suspend access for abuse, security risks, legal requirements or violations of these terms. Where practical, we will explain the restriction and how to contact us.
Stopping use, disconnecting or archiving does not itself erase retained records. Ask us about export or removal before closing an organization; retention and available privacy rights are described in the privacy policy.
Warranties and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free apps, accurate AI output or suitability for a particular regulated purpose.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ezship is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost profits, arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits a consumer, privacy or other right that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will show the revised date on this page. For material changes, we will provide notice through the service or an account contact where required by law. If you do not agree to revised terms, stop using the service and contact us about your account.
